“Wow, what can I say, it’s been a long process…i never expected for me to ever work this hard in a class when it came down to a class that had to do with english or math. English and Math to me, are suppose to be basic and simple, because certain things just don’t change over time. If 2+2=4..that will always remain the same. So if the word “Push” means to force something..then that’s what it will always be. But it’s more to that in writing i see. I never looked at this side of writing because i was never taught or it was never brought to my attention. I explained in my revision blog that nothing in the beginning or in the middle of doing my paper made any sense. It didn’t just take me sitting back and trying to figure things out, but actually going to the person who i was writing the paper for. We tend to act like we don’t need any help, when in the long run, just an inch of help can make the difference. After all that i’ve been doing, I give all my of terms towards my paper (Content, Organization, Mechanics, and Revision)…I give them all a 8 except my revision which i believe deserves a 10. I not only revised but i started over 5 different times and created 3 different ideas, in order for me to realize where i was head with my paper. It was like i had many ideas but things were becoming so foggy and i was all over the place because i couldn’t even understand what i was looking at or looking for. I was all mixed up and didn’t realize that, in the end, writing an organized paper is not easy. It’s very hard compared to what i was dealing with in english 101. college writing was cool and it helped me learn, how to write and what not to do and what to do. But i was still freestyling and my ideas could be all over the place because that was a cool thing. Now in the todays’ society, if you want to make it, You have to be able to do both!
In this paper i have to say the starting point was around the second paragraph, not necessarly the first paragraphy, but the first and in that second paragraph it started off with “I am writing this paper in order to make sense of questions that people tend to have on a regular bases about these video games towards a specific group of children.” When i said that it gave me a chance to lay down my mark before i go inside of the actual paper. It gave me a chance to state my case and be able to say what i wanted to say and not just let this paper just be everywhere and do anything. Then I begin to start to ask questions, questions that this paper would only answer. It was a set of them in order to lay a firm background so people would like the parts of the paper. I know listening to or reading a research paper can be the most boring thing in the world, but in order for me to take responsibilty and get it done, i have to make sure i have a great way of exposing my paper to the people. People don’t like to see something happen in great content and go totally well, it’s all about problems, issues, situations that people want to know, how i escaped those issues and those questions where in the second paragraph, for example “When in reality, there are many causes and effect and we as a society can question everything that might cross our path towards knowing what is real and what isn’t. Do the virtual world of gaming and the real world we live in somewhere meet in the middle? Do living in a society we see everyday, affect the way we play or the type of video games? These are the questions that are needed to be answered in order to take another step into noticing, what is real and what is crossing the line? .”

Then I begin to expose my paper even more by giving the idea that there is information needed to explain the reason why video games might be able to do what these questions might ask in my paper. I started to explain my information by telling you about two sources of information. One was about what type of video games are there and how they are wanted by people. Then it goes into the next subject about the actual skills that people can pick up to take into an everyday world.The thing about it is…it relates to different people different ways. We all use this skills, but a person from a different area than another person will use these certain skill differently.

But all around, it was a good process, and i’m finish!

What a difference of being in a class with computers help. I’ve always liked to have computers, it made things alot easier in today’s time. In this world we live in today, we basically need to computers in order to survive. We use computers everyday to get task done. I remember when computers weren’t used that much because technology was not like it is today. But things have evolved and now, it’s like we have to use computers in order to get the job done. When you need sources and information is basically at your fingertips. With using the wiki and the blogs and other sources, it creates a since of organization. For my experience, i really didn’t get the chance to realize what i was doing in the beginning, now i’m on a different level of understanding why he let us or made us do this format in order to create a great paper. I know that we all can be into the technical world of technology but in using this, we don’t have to just stick to books and magazines, but we can look things up on a computer which makes things much easier for me to get things done.

The blog that I picked for my draft revision was “~Revision~”

This blog was the biggest help of them all. I really didn’t get a chance to talk much in my blogs as i wanted to because we were always posted things up about what was asked or need to be answered. This blog gave me a free spirit and really gave me the since of direction to let me know that everything was going to be alright. I know in the beginning, i was very discourage and had no idea where i was going wit my paper. I revised my paper about 5 times with 3 different papers written, wasting alot of paper…lol..and going through 4 different people to help, 3 different ideas about what write about and in the end…I ended up with one great smile on my face. I never felt like this before about writing a paper. So many times, i written papers and they’ve been great and at times..i got upset and angry at the fact, my paper wasn’t going the way Dr. Sherwood wanted it to go. I always try my very best to give any teacher, what they want and need. I never thought for one second that things were going to get to the point, where i’m satisfied with what I have. I stayed up many nights, twerling my thumbs about what can I do now..now that i see my own problems and other people have saw and things are not great. What can I do to make this paper better. I know for myself, I ask alot of questioins and it ended up a good thing and you can see it all in this blog. This blog put me on the road where i needed to be.

The blog that most fit this description, when I related myself to developing my paper was “Direction of my paper”

Direction of my paper was significant because it showed me where i was at and where i needed to go. During the process of starting this whole paper, i was everywhere in my thoughts and had no idea what i really wanted to talk or research about. It took sometime for me to gather my thoughts and think about what i mainly wanted to do in order to create the best paper possible. I never thought for one second that this would be easy. But starting this paper off in the beginning was very difficult. I feel a sigh of relief now that, it’s basically almost over. I never thought i would get to this point but i feel more satisfied and looking back on this blog really put me in the mindset about how much writing these blogs let you gather you thoughts. This blog per say…let me really get the ball rolling even if i was going to mess up, at least i got started.

After looking over a few things in my paper, i can just say right off the back. I’m not happy at all. I guess I got to the point of my paper that I was just stating things and not really worried about how it would flow. I realize that, in order to have a good paper, it’s not about how you want it to sound, it’s about how it’s suppose to sound (directed towards the type of teacher you have). Every teacher isn’t the same and in the past this paper would not have been a low C..but it is, in his eyes. But that is really, what all matters. So in doing this paper and thinking i put alot of work into it and trying to figure out where the paper stands. In the beginning, when i looked at the revision, i got upset and just wanted to start all over, but hey, i have no time for that, I believe with a little help and some serious looking over everything sooner or later will make sense. “It’s not like I’m the only one with this problem”. I know people all in my class probably feel this way, but hey, we have to adjust and just make due where it’s needed.

7. (this should be first on my list but i’ll state it here) Organize my thoughts before even starting to type anymore. The things i have are very good, just not organized in order so that things link together and everything makes sense.

In today’s world we consider a lot of factors, when it comes to how society is affected in many ways. We as a people or generation tend to not realize how much of an affect certain things tend to have on us. So, is it safe to say to ourselves, that unrealistic or realistic ideas and objects affect the way the people of a society has grown in each generation? This paper will completely explain and generalize how affective these certain things can be, but mostly concerned or looking at the aspect of Technology. In doing so, Technology has reached a point where things and people who continuously use this target aspect, can now, break down Technology into a deeper context of a point. The reason for this target aspect, being narrowed even further down is the fact that, we as a generation devote ourselves to a very broad nature of technology.

Technology has been around for so long and there is so much to discover and develop within this field. For years people have tend to look over the fact about how internet technology has really played a role in their life. I’ve tried to deny the fact and ignore the existence of how internet technology is so important in my everyday life, but the facts state and the evidence shows, how this is absolutely true. I realize that there are plenty of ideas that are strong in my head about lots of topics and just to comment about the idealistic world of Technology is not good enough. When I mention the idealistic world, I mean the world in which we live in, where we live a subject and tend to not speak about a subject that we use every single day and don’t realize how our lives are affected by this subject or item.

In today’s world, not just hundreds, thousands, millions but Billions of people use internet technology just to get by the day or get objectives accomplished. We know internet technology as maybe a playful source way to make things happen but in reality, it’s the way we handle almost all aspects of life. Internet technology has been used to pay bills, communicate, play games, write papers, get information, survey a subject, and so much more. These are the subjects towards internet technology that we overlook and is needed to be looked at to figure out where people in today’s society, no matter the generation is really heading towards the future for this subject.

When it comes to primary sources and learning to get information, sometimes you must get information from outside sources, such as interviews and other surveys or even observations. Basically anything that isn’t etched and stoned into a book or some type of magazine or even a internet sight. For me and my question that proposed for my research paper, i feel as though, it’s going to take alot of information from peope in person, because i know that information from sites or resources are good and a great way to get things started, but i feel as though people don’t want to hear about information all the time, sometimes it’s what’s in people’s heads, what goes on in the experiences of people’s lives who relate to this subject. I know myself and I know i have tons to talk about and sometimes you really want to reach out and talk to the people that have great experience in this and then talk to people who have no idea about the subject and see what they can come up with. Sometimes, we tend to overlook alot of things because we look a the person and their background, I’ve come to the conclusion that, there is more behind people then people know about themselves, sometimes, it takes a little extra effort to help them get it out of them. I usually don’t bother myself with alot of information from sources because for myself i feel as though they are speaking and don’t realize the terminologyof all people.

I believe for the information that i’m discussing or my title and my main focus, there is plenty of places that I can go and get good personal information from experiences or just what people have to offer me. Some sources this could be directed to is Parents, Computer technicans or even everday people but based on the person, will base us on what we ask them!
