Research: The health of video addicts
Tuesday, February 27th, 2007Video games become more and more popular each year. I did some research and came up with a lot of information dealing with the health of teens that play video games for a majority of their day. These games have become so important that kids are skipping school to play them or even camping outside of best buys to make sure they get the game the first day it comes out. In one of the articles i read the author states that 38% of teens that play video games are not involved in sports or other activities. one of the problems may be they have to much time to waste. These teens basically do not leave their house for the day just to play their favorite game. This is not a healthy lifestyle at all for these teens. It is not good for both their physical and mental health. Video games is becoming more important then school, homework, studying, sports and basically everything else in their lives. In the future i think this topic will be a much larger problem then it already is in todays society.
